My daughter Bea will be celebrating her birthday next month and suddenly she says she want to have a small and intimate garden party for her classmates. I am now on the search for a nice garden that houses a hexagon gazebo to make her party stand out among the other trees and foliage. I am thinking somewhere in the Makati area since most of our relatives will be coming from there, while we stay at Paranaque and it will be very difficult for them to go all theway here.
I do hope i get her some cool stuff in time for her birthday, my little girl is now turning 14!

Family Day
Our school had its family day today ... and i am so tired. :)
We started at 8:30 in the morning with a mass, followed by flute presentations of the graders then we had games. All the kids participated and that made it a very successful day.
The daddies played a friendly game of basketball, then the students played basketball too.
We had a few games of bingo with the mommies and they went home with a set of bed sheets and matching pillow cases.
The kids had a great time and so did their family, because this one time where the kids and students can play together

Barbie Forever
I got orders again for birthday invites, stage backdrop, candy loot box and name tags all in one theme .... Barbie. Barbie never ceases to be an in thing when it comes to girls parties especially seven year old celebrants. This time they are going for a Fashionista Barbie themed party, and the celebrant will be turning seven, and it is very common here to celebrate big on a girl's seventh birthday.
I have noticed that we celebrate big when they turn one, seven, thirteen (upon entering the teen years) and of course when they turn eighteen.
Would you believe that i actually designed a Barbie coming out party last year, and it was well attended and was very successful.
I can truly attest that the Barbie mania has never cease to capture the hearts of us girls and ladies.

Playtime
My three kiddies still enjoy play time! This is a relief that they still enjoy playing especially now with the age of computer games, it really makes me happy that they still play and still rough it out. These are memories that i always capture in pictures, my hard drive is full of their happy times!
Musically Inclined

I started teaching music lessons to my students only this year, because i really wanted to give my students something that they can really use even before school days are over. I decided to introduce the flute to them and they eagerly wanted to learn and try it out. I was not wrong with my decision, they all over playing the flute and discover their hidden musical talents. They now play the flute during recess and lunch time instead of playing around when they are on breaks.
I have given them five songs to work with and they are still craving for more! Flute lessons start from grade three to grade six and they are all enjoying this new experience. Our principal spoke to me the other day and told me that the kids will be preforming this March for our graduation. told the kids about it and they are all nervous and excited.
I am now looking into getting some cheap electric guitars for the upper grades to complement the recorders music. I am thinking the grade six students will go into guitar lessons and the grade five will take the drums as their second instrument.
I love seeing my students enjoying their newly found hobby and at the same time find them using their time wisely.
