Play Together

Everytime we go out during the weekends (or weekdays when we do our grocery) i make it a point to let the kids have their play time, may it be in an indoor playground, inflatable or just video games. This is their time that they can bond together and play while instilling in them cooperation and care for each other without them even being aware of it. They are not fond of (good thing) playing games against each other, they like more of a team effort kind of games. Look at the backs of my three serious gamers ... game on!

Decisions

Now that Bea is finishing up her grade school years and will be moving up to high school next school year, Christian and i have been entertaining our thoughts with a lot of big schools to choose from. I took the liberty of visiting three schools on my own, got the list of requirements and the tuition fee schemes for point of comparison. I already have a favorite and am leaning towards that school but we still have to discuss it further. Just like our insurance policies we are still thinking the pros and cons of term vs. permanent, there is also the hanging question of getting another dog other that Choconut and we are still deciding over a doberman or a labrador.

So many things to think about before we really peg on the best one. We are a kind of family that we have to decide on it together and look at the choices from all aspects to arrive to the best choice.

Bloom

Here is a picture of my mama's beloved shih tzu named Panda. I photoshopped him inside a rose bud as a gift to my mama. Upon seeing it my mama loved it right away. She had the picture reproduced and we were all given a copy ... hahah!

Panda is one loyal doggie tyo my mama and really knows how to listen. I am glad now that we are all grown up there is still Panda who needs a doting momma to look after her.

Convinced

Anyone in the lookout for gold bars? In as much as i am an expert on it (hahaha!) since i have always been thinking about it for quite some time, the best place to buy it is still from United States Bureau. They have not only gold bars, they also have coins and bullions. They are are also not restricted to gold as they also offer good deals on silver as well. Buying from a reliable dealer is one step closer in getting the best from your hard earned money, no shady and under the table deals with the United States Bureau, what you see is what you get and much more. You deserve to get your moneys worth and that is what you will get nothing less. A wise investment.

Time Flies

No matter how many times i hear it, "time flies", i hear that all the time, a common expression, but really it does fly ... and boy is it fast!

I still cannot believe that i have three fast growing children and yet i still feel the same like i used to and yet there have been major changes. I can say that despite the three childbirths, three different experiences and three different memories they have not changed who i am inside, this is still me.

You can hear a lot of people saying that they have lost themselves in their marriages especially after giving birth ... but, not me. I am proud to say i am still one percent me!

But, time flies ... my kids are all growing up! I just wish i can slow down time and let them be as carefree and happy as they are now always.

Under The Weather

I have been under the weather since last Friday ... the fieldtrips sudden rainfall took its toll on me. But being the mama that i am with all my responsibilities i have no time to lie down and rest it out. My voice is hoarse and i have a terrible cough. Again, they are things that i do not really give priority to.

Sam on the other hand came home last Monday with a slight fever. I gave her medicines and she had to be absent yesterday. Since i also had three classes yesterday i was able to ask Christian to take care of Sam first so i could attent to my first class and rushed home after so he can go and leave for work. The setup was good for me but bad for Christian .... he got to the office super late as he battled through the dreaded traffic jam.

So today, Sam is still not feeling well, i could not ask Christian to do the same .... we are both absent (Sam and i) hopefully by tomorrow Sam will be ready for school.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Bling Bling

Was at the mall yesterday looking at some eye candies for me ... bling, bling! I really have a facination to buy gold, and i have had this fancy for it even when i was still single. I know the value of it and how it appreciates through time so that is why i have been frequenting the United States Gold Bureau to look at some good deals that they are offering. You have to be wary on where you will purchase gold as this could spell a disaster if you purchase it from a shady company. The US Gold Bureau is backed with many testimonials so you are assured of not getting only the best price but the quality of the gold you will purchase is high. Go for gold and go to a reputable and stable dealer. Better safe that super sorry!

Must Haves

Yes, i finally got one of my "must haves" last weekend and really it felt so good and relaxing. I am one simple girl so an hour and a half of facial at the salon is enough for me to call it my pamper time. I was able to squeeze in to have my once a month eyebrow threading session (ouch!) while having my facial, so its like hitting two birds in one stone. A lot of teenagers were there for treatment for acne, i remember my teenage days when i too was plagued with it. I am so glad that over that phase ... hehehe!

I am now a relaxed individual after my facial and hopefully i have all the strength i need to battle weeks of schoolwork. Tee hee!

School Party

This year and only this year did we not have a school birthday party for Sam. I am very fortunate that she understands how busy i am now that i am teaching and that i am also in school with her, meaning i no longer have my free time to organize and get all the preparations done and bring it to school .... because i am already in school.

The upside though is i am with Sam the entire duration of her birthday and not just wait for them when they get out from school. There are always nice things even from small and trivial things.

Site Power

Have i told you that me website has been visited by more than a thousand people?

It has and i get suprised that they come from different places and at different hours of the day. I have seen some who frequent my site and get updates and they even leave me comments on my entries. I love my website and really maintain it well, I even go and research on seo tools to further enhance the marketability of my website. I love pruning my site and keep it as updated as i can so when my visitors come they always have something new to see.

I love the power of the internet and the power of my website!

Splash

I have a lot of pictures from last Saturday's swimming at the Dusit Hotel. We celebrated Sam's birthday a few days earlier there and went swinmming the entire afternoon. I slathered gobs of sunblock lotion on my kids afraid that the noon sun would give them a burn that they will not forget .... heheheh ... good thing they went out of the whole afternoon smiling and sunburn free, yey! I remember during my teenage years when i would worship the sun and slather http://www.tanningbedlotions.com instead of sunblocks, I always wanted to get a tan and have bathing suit marks as proof of my sun worhiping days. The only thing that bothered me before was after hours and hours of sunbathing, i would tan be back to my fair skin in less than three days . No matter how burnt i get i turn red after a day then back to white ... tee hee!

Those were my teenage years, not its sunblock with the highest spf available, oldie on the loose. lol!

I Wonder

I have been trying to upload pictures here the entire morning but it won't show. It said "done" then when i check here there is no image.

Hmmmm ....

Is anyone experiencing this too today?

Hope it gets better later this afternoon.

Just Me?

Is it just me or are you feeling a little sluggish?

I don't know if its the weather (hot then cool, sometimes rain) or its just me. I feel really tired late afternoon and really feel its toll by eight in the evening. I am more than excited to call it a day and jump in bed. But i can't do that ... i still have to make sure all the assignments of the three kids are all finished, prepare dinner, give them their food and tuck them all in bed. I am so exhausted when night time comes that it seems that i took a dose of natural fat burners as i have jsut accomplished a lot in one day, enough to burn the fat. Most of the time when i lie down beside my kids to put them to sleep i am awakened by Christian to tell me to transfer to our room as i have fallen asleep with the kiddies. I wonder who went to sleep first though ... lol!

Friend In Need

A good friend of mine read my post about my quest to flatten my tummy and she told me to look into lipo 6 hers and i will take her advice and widen my choices on possible solutions to help me with my problem area. I wonder how long it will take me to trim down not only my weigh but find the shape of my body ... hahaha! Yes, i can now be mistaken as a canned softdrink, especially the other day when i asked Christian if i still have my shape, he said "Uhm, not much."

What an answer.

Makes me want to strive more and really ve dead serious with this mission. I will be able to do it. I am giving myself one month. No crash diet though ... i will do this safely.

Tears

Here i go again ... crying my eyes out in the last episode of a soap. I always catch a soap and grow a liking to it just when it is about to end. The story of this soap is unbelievable, but still it pinches my heart especially with scenes of the daighter and the mother. It must be my hormones ruling .... sob, sniff.

In Control

Bea and i were at the mall this afternoon as i was buying my hair dye to somehow pep up my image after a long gruelling two weeks in school. I had a great time looking at the array of choice for acne medication, different scents of conditioners and was also looking at buying some facial masks. I had a fun time reading the variants of the available shampoos and hair spas, everything is so fruity and it all smelled good. I am very lucky that there are a lot of choices in the beauty section nowaday not like when ii was growing up when there was very limited choices.

It really feels good to be a girl ... and be extra girly with all the available things to try!

Challenge

I am now on an all out war with myself!

The challenge is on how to lose stubborn belly fat and win this battle against this growing bulge that is starting to show. My co-teachers said i have lost a few pounds and i am very happy with that, but the main concern is the stomach area that has yet to dissapear. I know i can win this if i really focus and maybe cut down a little (can't stop abruptly) on my soda intake. I also have started lessening my rice intake especially at night meals.

I know i can do this ... just stay focused.

Week End

Here we go again ... weekend again!

This past week has been very hectic, i hardly had time to even open my emails because we had our exams this week and when we get home from school i still have to review the kids and at the same time make my own tests.

But now here i am writing that the day is almost over and the weekend officially begins.

I now have opened my facebook (tee hee), my emails, downloaded the pictures sent to me for design work, study the car insurance rate online and even update myh multiply account. This is going to be one busy but happy nightg online as i catch up on the things i missed this entire week.

I know my laptop will heat up like the sun when i am finished, lol!

Mail Virus

It has been going on for two weeks now that i have been receiving emails from people from my contact lists with links inside the body of their emails and nothing else. I have been able to verify that these emails are viruses waiting to be opened by the receiver. Your computer will be infected as soon as you click on the link. I have been getting around ten emails in one day ( i have a lot of contacts in my address book) and have not clicked on any of the links. I hope yahoo mail finds a way to stop the spreading of these virus that uses your contacts as baits.

Options

I have carefully studied the option to buy gold coins and bullion as a smart investment for my family. There are many ways to invest our hard earned money as i have researched on but from what i have gathered i think the best way is for gold purchases. I really want no risks involved as our money is hard earned and losing them just like that is something i cannot really put on the line. The U.S. Gold Bureau is a trusted dealer that i know i cannot go wrong with. I have read al ot of good testimonies about them so i will be not be making an investment that i will regret in the future, but will be happy with my decision to go and finally put my assets to good use and save up for the rainy days.

Brewing

A headache is brewing.

Must be the news and the light of my laptop all together ...

Wishing you all a good day and may you all enjoy the rest of the day.

Sad News

While i am blogging i am watching the news on tv. The main topic is still about the failed hostage taking operation, and as much as i don't know anyone from the hostages to the hostage taker i still feel sad on what had happened to both parties. My heart goes out to the hostages all the more. They came here to enjoy and spend their vacation here and yet what has happened to them. I prayed that their souls be guided and be at peace after this sad and tragic incident. I wish there was just a way to bring back the hands of time so no innocent lives be on the line.

The other sad thing here is the finger pointing that is happening.

So sad.

Our Baby

Our little girl is a happy little pup. She is now seven months old and very healthy. She shows fondness to Vin more than Bea and Sam, maybe because Vin plays with her more since Vin comes home earlier from school and goes straight to Choconut to play with her. She no longer makes small nibbles on our toes, hahaha, she now licks and loves to play ball. Sometimes when she is in her house at night time she still attempts to be taken out by biting her ball and looking around so she intice anyone to play. We are very lucky to have her in our home and we love her very much.

Friendly Advice

My friend and i chatted in ym a few hours ago and i told her my plan to purchase gold coins as investment for our future. She said it was a good idea and that she too has been hearing on how it has been becoming a safe way to invest your assets. She said and i have to agree that gold really has a particular interest in all of us, it is a timeless commodity and that it shall never be out of style. I have a lot of pieces of gold and have had it for a long time and i still get surprised on how it has appreciated in value. With gold you can never go wrong and she said that is a wise investment. I might just take her word for it.

Busy Bee

I have been a bee lately.

Yup, a bee.

A very busy bee.

Sometimes i am thinking if i am spreading myself too thin due to the many roles i play day in and out. I try and weigh what is important. My role as a wife is somthing that i love to be, being married for 13 years is one role i will not give up. My role as a full time mom to threekids is also an important that cannot be compromised, this is one role i think i am good at and enjoy the most. My role as a part time teacher also has many promises, i get to see the kids everyday in school and be part of their growing moments, something that i also cannot give up. My role as a designer for important moments is one thing i am proud of, the happy comments and reactions i get form my clients make all my time designing it worthwhile.

So what will i give up?

Nothing.

So that explains why i am truly busy as a bee ... and i am not complaining, just saying it out loud.

Bring it on.

Simple Joys

Sometimes when we are so wrapped up with our busy life, we forget to stop and appreciate the simple joy of seeing our children smile.

These are my simple but treasured moments. I am very fortunate to have my children in my life. Heres to seeing more smiles, grins, giggles and laughter from my three little treasures!

I am one lucky momma!

Bag Search

I will be bringing my ever dependable laptop to school next week. I am now on the search for a sturdy laptop bag that will protect and secure my laptop everytime it has to go out the house. My laptop hasn't left the confines of our house ever since i got it ... hehehe! I am very protective when it comes to my laptop since all my files, artwork and pictures are all stored here and i was thinking if i shuttle it all the time there is greater chance for it to be mishandled. But since i am teaching computer and my laptop will be a very handy tool in class. I hope i get to get a good bag before next week.

Goodluck to me!

Thinking

I have been thinking if i should buy gold coins as an investment. I have been in searching for ways to make a wise investment and to somehow secure our future. There are many ways actually to do that and i have visited the site of U.S. Gold Bureau and have seen how i can put my money to good use and invest it in gold and at the same time reduce risks as gold is always valuable. There are a lot of designs to choose from and they have an ongoing promo that if you can get the coins at a very low special price if you purchase ten coins and more. So far this is the best deal i have seen for a possible investment to secure my assets and at the same time earn from it.

Craving

At this very moment, i am craving for a large helping of banana split from Pancake House! I was saving my pictures on dvds and came across this picture from last weeks visit to Pancake House.

I want one, now!

Office Group

Christian had a sports affair in his office and he asked me if i could make him a backdrop of his team and their logo (Blues Clues..hahaha!) of course i said, "Sure!" He brought the camera to his office and took pictures of his groupmates and gave them to me.

This is what i made for them and was printed on a large tarpaulin. All his groupmates liked it and Christian even texted me that a lot of people were having their pictures taken beside the backdrop even officemates who were not on his team, tee hee!

I love helping Christian in any way i can because i know how hectic his work is. I am now helping him get the cheapest auto insurance by searching the internet and presenting to him his options. I in my own way help him even if i am just home and on the computer. Christian makes his gratitude felt all the time and thanks me for everything i help him with, be it a small or big help.

Hopping

One of the things that i have not been doing these past weeks is to visit my friends blogs, have been really busy with school lessons and this time i promise myself that when we get back from the mall i will defintely catch up on a lot of blog happenings from my friends. I will hop around, leave messages and comments like a mad rabbit, tee hee!

Happy blogging peeps!

Weekend Madness

Yup, i go berserk when its a Friday ... hahaha!

My time and the kids to go to the mall to meet up with Christian there and not be in a hurry to go home because there is no school tomorrow! Yey!

I actually made a list of what i will be buying (window shopping first, lol!) so i don't miss on anything, i have to restock on pencils, bondpaper and chalk for the kids, get the biggest photopaper available, scout for a good external hard drive for my laptop, bring the kids to the playground, try on some purple tops that i saw last week but didn't have time to fit and eat at McDonalds! I love making lists, i make mine short and realistic that way i get to finish everything on it and get the feeling of satisfaction that i did good for the day, hahaha!

I love the weekend!

Cafe Cozy

Whenever Christian and i talk about a possible business venture for us to go into he always would add to the list opening an internet cafe as a good way to go. I know that computers are really the thing nowadays and no one is still in the dark when it comes to computer usage. I would go into cafes and see the smallest children talk to their loved one ona webcam chat window and even see senior citizens opening their facebook account ... hahaha! So i guess going in the internet cafe business will not be a risky thing to do considering the popularity and the widespread usage, but i know the cafe has to have things that will stand out from the other kiosks available. I was thinking serving real food and small nooks for the users, maybe have rack mount computer installed instead of just on tables, a separate area for the gaming crowd as they become rowdy and a more quiet corner for webcam users to give them privacy when they talk to their family and friends. I wonder what we will call it ... hmmmm ... Cozy Net or Cafe Cozy .... hmmm.

I am getting excited with the many possibilities!

Sun and Rain

This is the time that our bodies are really going bonkers ... its really hot then after a few hours its raining like crazy. I welcome the rain, i am maybe one of the few people who loves it when it rains and even loves going out in the rain, but what i don't like is the after rain smell especially when it just cools the pavement and the ground lets out a odor taht i really don't like. It makes the air hotter and humid when it is just a little rain, that is why i am very particular with our home ventilation because i don't want to trap that smell in our house whenever it rains. Bea has rhinitis and these odors really trigger her allergy. I really take particular attention not to make their rooms stuffy and to air them out all the time.

I love the rain ... bring it on!

Growing Horns

This picture is now my profile pic in my Facebook page and set my status to "Growing horns!" Tee hee!

I have received a lot of comments asking me if i really poseed like this on purpose ... and i told them the story behind it. It was actually Christian's prank on me ... when he was taking the picture he kept asking me to move to the left, then to the right, little more and when he got the exact position he clicked away, he was laughing all the time he was giving me directions, and when the photo was taken he showed it to me! I laughed really hard ... and so did the three kids! Of course, i also asked him to pose and stand there while i took the shot he willingly obliged.

I am really fortunate to have happy and silly family members!

Graduating

My cousin will be graduating this November from college and she is starting to give out application forms to several hospitals to start her job hunting activities that soon will dominate her next year's calendar. I remember when i graduated i already had a line up of preferred hotels and resorts as my dream job. I was fortunate enough to land a job that i liked on my first try. My cousin will be graduating from nursing school and she is very lucky as jobs for health care is very popular these days. I am sure she will not have a difficult time securing a position in her preferred health care as she is an honor student all throughout her high school and college years. Good education is something that i always stress on my kids as well, this is one thing that you can never go wrong with and will open doors for you in the future.
