Rainy

Though the news has announced that rainy season has started i have yet to feel the cool breeze it comes with it. It is still humid as ever. Luckily, we have cozy patio chairs in school that i always stay in as soon as i am off from one of my classes. I love the open air feeling, even if the air is still hot and dry at least i am not cramped in the room with artificial airconditioned cool air. I love the outdoors! Hope rain comes in soon before i dry out ... hahaha! But of course we would not want flash floods, just simple rain that can water the plants and trees and cool the surrounding for a while after a long hot summer.

I have been bringing my umbrella to school everyday, getting ready for the much awaited downpour.

Artsy

For our first project in Arts class we made our very own beaded bracelets. The kids loved mixing their own colors together to get the perfect combination to match their personalities. They said after making their own bracelets that they will never take it off forever ... hahaha!

I am glad they all enjoyed our first activity .. till the next project!

TGIF Again

It was just the start of the week then suddenly it is already Black Friday! Yey! I love sales! I love going to the mall on a Friday since i know i can still get weekday sales and perks yet not worried that i have to go home early and sleep since we have the school the next day ... hahahah! Fridays really are my favorite days ... Saturdays too!

Christian has bowling games every Fridays and comes home pretty late, but to compensate for his late hour coming home he buys us pizza ... a perfect Friday midnight snack for us!

Saturdays are usuallyh spent meeting up with my papa and mama to catch up on the busy week that went by.

Fridays onwards make me smile!

Project

Gave out my very first school project today. I asked my student for a drawing on illustration board of a lifesized computer keyboard to be passed next week. This way my computer students will be familiar with the keys of the keyboard and the places of the letters as we will be practicing the proper finger places for the letters.

I promise myself that before the first quarter ends my students will be able to identify the keyboard names and functions easily.

New Career

I have yet to break the news here ... i am now officially a school teacher!

Yes, you read it right!

I started two days ago and teach grade school students! This is something new for me and as expected i am enjoying it. This new move really is challenging for me and i welcome it open arms. I love the feeling of being able to share something to the children and have it with them until they grow up, iguess not everyone is given this opportunity, so i am taking it.

I have a set of uniform and worm them yesterday already, they are all so cute, hahaha! I only have one pink blouse that is a bit short and sometimes my stomach is showing (tee-hee) so i won't be surprised if i have to buy diet pills to keep my stomach from getting bigger and showing itself during class ... hahaha!

I wear black slacks and closed black shoes. Our blouses change color everyday so we don't look plain and adds color to the classroom.

So far so good. It has only been two days but i am enjoying it. I just hope this feeling does not wear off. Hahaha!
