Blessed In Every Way

I have always said i am very blessed ... and i will say it over and over ... i am truly blessed.

I am happy with my life and i hope i make my family and the people around me as happy as i can.

I have been given so much ... my only wish is that i can do the same for others.

We are all blessings ... let us continue to love life!

Profile Pic

This is one of my favorite picture of Choconut and Vin, and when i was uploading it in the computer, Vin came up to me and said, "Mama, can that picture be my profile picture in facebook?" was i ever surprised! A six year old now is showing preference as to the displayed profile picture! Times has really changed and they are so advanced .. i guess just having their own facebook account is an astonishment in itself.

From sleepless nights to pampers diapers i soon will be dealing with overnights with friends and acnepril purchases for them! I wish i can hold on to them as long as i can .... but i have to let them grow up. I just hope i have given them all a great childhood that they will remember till they grow up and have their own children ... sob ... sniff.

Vet Visit

We brought Choconut to the vet for her series of shots and the three kids wanted to go and accompany her. They were squirming when they saw the doctor give her the shot and were all mighty proud of Choconut when she did not even make a sound when she took the shot. They all gathered around her and took turns carrying her to make sure she was alright. The doctor said that Choconut is very healthy and has gained weight too. I talked to her about a few things like Choconut's habit of nibbling on our toes (hahaha!) and if it was just normal and when it will stop. She said she is currebtly teething that makes Choconut want to bite on things and sadly its our toes that is within her reach. lol!

I discussed a few more things and she really enlightened me with all my questions and i noticed she was reading colon cleanser reviews and asked her about it too .. hahaha! She is a good doctor and i can truly say she is very patient in answering all my "silly" questions about puppy care, she understand that this is our first puppy and everything is a reveletion for us. I still can't get over the fact that i was really surprised to learn that rabies is not inborn and that it is a viral disease, hahaha!

I have so much to learn!

In Motion

One week of kiddie crew duties spelled a lot of food intake on my part (lucky me!) since i had to stay with them. Plus if they were manning the counter i would make sure that i will order so they can arrange my orders, and of course a vanilla sundae cone is never absent from my requests since i know how they enjoy making the icecream cones. I wonder if they had a month of counter duties what would my figure look like? I shudder to imagine ... hahaha! An effective and fast weight loss regimen would surely follow after their Mcdonald's stint, lol! Luckily, my walking around the mall must have burned some calories for me .. tee hee!

Loving Them

My kids are my life ... the very reasons why i have to be healthy at all times/ I used to take my health for granted when i was younger, i was rarely sick anyway so i never really put so much attention to it. Now that i am a mom and there are lives looking up to me i really have to make it a point to be and stay healthy for myself and for them. I am starting to take suplements and natural vitamins to ensure that i stay at the top of my game. I cannot afford to be sick, and i cannot just let nature takes its course, i have to combat it and make an effort to stay healthy. I love my kids so much and want to spend a whoe great deal of time with them .. for as long as i can.

Toy Story 3

My kids were excited when they saw standees of their favorite characters in Toy Story, they all wanted pictures with them. They got doubly excited when they thought the movie is playing now, but when we asked the counter it was not going to shown till a couple of weeks. Good thing that did not dampen the spirits of the kids and gamely posed with Jessie, Woody and Tour Guide Barbie! Tee hee!

Fast Forward

Now that THE wedding is set on the beach makes me realize one thing ... i have to prepare my summer body for the event, hahaha! I have to make sure i stick to the exerise routine i started or take weight loss pills that work to make sure i can help on the day itself with confidence, hahaha, nu bulging tummy around!

We will be having our fitting by the end of the week, at least it will give me motivation to lose the unwanted pounds, i am sure preparing for this wedding is gonna burn the calories. I have to look good there are a millions of cameras that will be out that day, lol!

Brainstorming

My cousin will be having a beach wedding in a few months and we are all helping out in the preparations. Everyone has ideas to put in and they are all welcome, we are really aiming for a one of a kind wedding! They have come up with their own vows that are upbeat and fun, i am really excited to hear them said during the ceremony. We are also thinking of giving out personalized beach towels for their principal sponsors, custom koozies for the entourage and guests ... they will be with the couple's names and maybe an image of a bride and groom in swimsuits!

Since this will be the last wedding for the summer in our family, we want to make it the best, as the saying goes "Save the best for last!", i can't wait for it all to materialize in front of us. This is going to be a great end of summer celebration that's for sure!

McD Kiddie Crew

Bea and Sam joined the weeklong McDonald's Kiddie Crew Summer Activities again this year. And needless to say, they enjoyed it! Vin will be joining next year when he turns seven ... and that means i have a few hours on my own around the mall while the three kids will be at MsD .. hahaha!

Little Nipper

Meet our little nipper, Choconut. She is very playful and is the apple of the eyes of my little kids. They have big plans for her already. They have been teaching her tricks like "Lie down", "sit", "stay" and "fetch", but nothing beats "Come here Choconut" as she runs happily flapping her long brown ears. They are also looking at a different wardrobe for her and are opting for hip hop clothes for their little princess. She can't go out on walks just yet though since she is only 2 months and a half, we have to wait her finish her series of immunization shots (up to four months) before she struts her stuff. The kids will surely make her first debut memorable!

Ready

Christian and i were watching a movie and it was quite a heavy movie and was bordering towards depression for me. What a way to spend a movie date. But all the same i was able to put things in perspective, the heroine lost everything she had due an accident and ended with nothing. I suddenly thought had she had a kind of disability insurance then it would not end that way. So all the same, no matter how the story goes in the movie i was still able to get something from it. Plus all the popcorn and soda i downed all through the movie .. hahahah!

No worries, Christian and i walked a few blocks to burn the calories before heading home.

Black Saturday

Our Black saturday was spent doing the Reflections on the Stations of the Cross at Bonifacio High Street in Makati. We were there last year when it first started, so i wanted to do it again this year. I find it very effective in terms of remembering and reflecting on what Jesus has done for us. I like the activities you do (interactive) every station where you equate the deeds in present time.

Next year, we will be visiting it again.
