Bangs

Finally Sam said yes to have "bangs" .. tee hee! After nine years she is now sporting a new hairstyle ... and if you ask me it really suits her! She looks really cute (ok, biased .. hahaha!) but really a lot of people have been giving out compliments to Sam's new look.

I was meeting my agent yesterday for this year's insurance quote and even if she has not seen Sam before she said I have a very pretty daughter, os it just proves it just not because i am the mother .. hahaha!

The two girls are now more concious of their looks, Bea with her rebonded hair and Sam's cute baby bangs. I now have to find a way to spice my long do so i don't get stuck in the rut .. hahaha!

Science Week Coming

It's Science week in school next week and the pre-schoolers still do not have any project to showcase. Bea made an illustration of the respiratory system, Sam with her group members are making an aquarium and the solar system Vin 's teacher and fello parents are still brainstorming. I have suggested to have two illustrations of two large tree, one will be called the "healthy tree" with fruits (different kinds) on it while the other tree is the "Junkfoo tree" with candies and chips on it. What do you think?

Another thing that came up is a diorama of sort of mother and baby animals, a pocket garden and vegetable garden. The only thing that is certain are the tree project, s i will be searching the internet for clip art of the vegetables that i can print and cut out and secure with double sided tape each.

This clip art hunt will be doubled with my search for good place for rv repair that i promised my cousin i will help him with. I just love the internet where everything is literally at your fingertips.

Candid

This was taken last Saturday, Christian was seated at the far end of the table while my sister was on the other side, she use her zoom lens to capture this moment. I like this candid picture of Christian. I love how his face is lit up in a smile, looking happy and content.

I have been married to this man for thirteen years and have known him for more than fifteen years of my life.

Sideline

I have in my possession five different catalogs from different companies offering make-up, fragrances, shoes, clothes, household appliances, bags and even silver jewelery. I got them all from school and i will look it over and return it later when i go back to pick up Vin. I have scanned two already and have listed a few items (there goes the weekly budget ... hehehe) and am exerting effort to limit spending. There are a lot of mommies who have sidelines like sales jobs, some even have baked goods to offer and knick knacks. It really helps if we find a way for added income, something that we can do and at the same time not having to take most of our time away from the kids.

Who would ever think that i would have a design business as a sideline? There is always something suited for us, we just have to open our options.

Nope, that is how old i will be this year!

Where did all the years go (come in mellow sentimental music) tee-hee.

But seriously, i am so proud of my age, i am going to be 41! Yipee!

Sounds oldie but really age is just a number (from what people have been trying to tell themselves, lol!) its what you feel inside that makes you who you are. I am happy that i can still function like a twenty year old and still have the energy and zest to do things with my kids, no bones creaking yet.

But i should not take evrything for granted, that is why i am taking some vitamins targeting certain things, like i have a vitamin just for my skin and hair, multivitamin for overall nutrition and now i am even looking at natural anti aging products that i can add to my usual regimen. I have some anti-aging creams that i apply every other night (i forget to put every night, heheh) to take care of my skin. I want to grow old ... but gracefully please.

School Chatter

Exams are scheduled this week and that just not means more reviewing to do in the coming days but more mommies will be going to school to get the pointers and that spells more "informal conferences" with them. Tee-hee!

I love talking to co-parents because it gives me a window to see that what goes on in my life is almost the same with their, makes you really belong. There are tons of things to talk about once we meet in school, from the coolest lunchboxes, new make-up tricks, easy food to prepare for snack and even the best weight loss pills to try. There really is no boundaries once we start talking, makes you forget for a moment the heavy studying that will be coming up.

Toning Begins

I promise myself to give myself more attention this 2010, and of one of these things (from the long list, hahaha!) is to tone my body and sculpt it ... goodluck to me!

I find my arms and weight gain perfect, talk about feeling confident. I actually have to work double time toning my abs first i have yet to find them, lol!

I am now searching the net and reading on different reactions and reviews to certain exercise programs and contraptions that promises good results, even came across super pump 250 side effects and been reading a lot others to slim down my choices and finally pick one that is suited for me.

The quest for the perfect body begins!

Tonight is the last episode. Awww...

Last night's episode was a tear-jerker, i cried like a baby .. hahah!

I will miss this soap.

I find Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales' acting natural and flawless.

Gabby Concepcion as debonaire as ever .. hahaha ... i remember my teenage years and how he has not aged since then, i wonder what wonder face creams he is using to achieve his young looking face.

Lorna Tolentino still has it in the acting department.

The revelation for me is John Estrada (who i never really liked before) who demonstrated superb acting. I could not believe he can make me cry as well.

I like ChinChin Gutierrez and Karylle as well.

I love them all!

Blackout

This is the last day for my computer, i promise to not go online tomorrow and dedicate my entire day saving all my files in dvds and get the necessary programs i need before i have it reformatted. I am looking for all my programs that i need to load once the new and refreshed hard drives are up. I have also downloaded the latest yahoo messenger, firefox browsers, best seo software, design softwares that i need, bookmarks that are important to me.

Tomorrow is the day ...

I will be black .. powerful than ever ... hahaha!

Memories

This is the gate of my grandparents house where we spent and had countless of precious memories here. Last Christmas my sister took this picture and it really hits a soft spot in my heart. We spent Christmas night here with my lola and my titas and titos ... and the more i miss my lolo.

Sending out a prayer to him that he always look after us and that he stay happy forever.

Two And A Half

Yup, that how many more months before we send out graduation announcements ... yahoo! School is almost over (said with all gusto like a high school student .. hahah!) I have survived seven months of trips to school as i watch the three kids especially Vin who had his first taste of school this year. He will be graduating from kindergarten , while Bea will be grade 6 (another graduation in the offing) and Sam grade 4.

On this note, third quarter final examinations are set next week, this means we will be reviewing this weekend, so malling time will be cut short this time to get them ready to take the tests with confidence. I wonder what multivitamins i should take ... hahaha ... studying times three! Goodluck ... to me! Lol!

Bigger and Bigger

Look at my three kids, just a few years ago i was carrying them ... in just a few more months Bea will shoot up and can be taller than me in no time. Sam is growing fast too while Vin is learning more new things in school.

I officially do not have babies anymore ... they are all growing up. Sigh.

I love my children with all my heart and i am very fortunate to have spent all their "baby years" by my side. I am one lucky momma!

Computer Alert

Here we go again.

My computer's hard drive is crying for help. Hahaha!

I have been meaning to reformat since the first week of January but have had no time to save all my files and programs in dvds. I have a lot of files here on both my drives, with all the design work i do in a year it can really leave my memory gasping for air. My cousin told me i should have heeded her suggestion to secure online backup of all my files in case i need to reformat asap. It would really ease the burden of emptying my computer with all my impostant files plus there is no chance of my files ever getting lost or destroyed as i can retrieve them anytime. I will make sure to keep everything in check this year 2010. That is a promise.

Mishap

We had a slight road mishap New Year's day :(

We were all set to go to Mall of Asia to watch Avatar when a drunk driving jeepney driver bumped the side of the passenger side of our car and fled. Christian chased him for a full five minutes before we finally had him slowing down and aprehending the driver. He was asked to g down the vehicle and he insisted that he was not aware of the bumping and was talking and walking sluggishly. His breath reeked with alchohol and when Christian asked for his driver's license ... he had nothing to give. Oh no!

He asked for pardon and said "Happy New Year" over and over.

We were flagging down cars and tried to reach police stations to come but to no avail. Though we were covered with a high risk auto insurance there was still no excuse for this man not to be taught a lesson. He was insisting that he was not drunk and kept asking us to follow him home so he can get his license ... it was such a sad scenario.

The only good thing that came out of it that no one was hurt ... it could have been different ... so with that note we let him go after taking his pictures and his name (who i don't know if it even true) ...

Drunk drivers are really very irresponsible.

Lola Daisy's Book

My Lola Daisy's book is out!

Yup, you can buy them now .. it is a very interesting read and what makes it more special is my kids pictures are in it .. hehehe!

My picture is also there but was taken years ago, was pregnant with Sam i think, all bloated and puffy .. tee-hee!

I am very lucky to have very famous realatives! Both my grandparents are National Artists and my papa is a well a very talented and award winner both in theater and film. Woohoo! I wonder when i will see myself splashed on cool HDTV for everyone to see! That will be the day!

The Promise Of 2010

New year ... new beginnings ... new promises.

I just love the new year .. it brings a lot of fresh starts that we can all embark on. It can really be fulfilling to make resolutions and really stick to it. I made a few do-able resolutions that i will really follow to the letter. There are also a lot of things that i have overlooked the past years that this year i find there is much importance, one of these is getting a reliable health savings account that we can fall back on when the need arises, another is a more comprehensive family insurance for the kids, especially that Christian and i are aging by the minute ... hahaha!

I love the new year ... new life ... new good things to come.
