Safe Mode

Since we gifted Bea her own laptop and installed a wireless router so she can access the internet even in her room i made it a point to pinpoint to her do's and definite don'ts on the internet. First i set the safe mode on for her searches as she loves looking for pictures of her favorite Anime characters and save them on her laptop so she can look at them and draw the, on paper. I also told her not to just open links just because she it says click here, and many other things like going into sites that she does not know or if she really wants to visit that site to ask me first if she can. Of course in facebook i instructed her never to add friends she does not know and never tell anybody anything over the chat facility on facebook. The internet is a powerful tool in learning new things but it can also lead to negative things if they are not warned. I trust Bea will listen and do as told, she is a very responsible girl.
