In just a few days it is going to be Christmas day!

From our family to yours .. Merry Christmas and may we all have a Happy New Year ahead of us. Stay healthy and safe!

Gift Hunt

I have a hard time getting Christian a present ... i always end up giving him the same things every year .. hahaha! This time i decided to visit s sporting goods store to look at slimming paraphernalia and the hardware for some electrical supplies that he is always looking at, i want to give him a well-stocked carpenter's tool box so he does not have to run down to the store everytime. I am thinking of getting him the basic things that i know he uses like electrical tape, plumbing things, washers and other cheap knick knacks like cement nails and the like. Goodluck to me!

Santa's Pals

Was in the mall yesterday, took the kids out when i picked them up from school to treat them after a long day of exams. We chanced upon a large Santa display with sleaigh and reindeers, i could not resist having a picture moment .. hahaha! Good thing the kids were happy to give in to my request for a quick shot. Then we had snacks then went to the department store to look at the best water filters available to keep our tap water clean and potable. Then we passed by the supermarket to get some snacks before we headed home.

Ageless

My co-mommies in school have been talking about ways to keep looking fit and young and have traded our beauty secrets. I shared with them my secret of drinking lots of water to clean my system and clear my skin. My other friend shared her best eye cream for wrinkles and her special diet of fish and vegetables. We compared on how often we excercise during the day and they marvelled that i always have my walking exercise everyday i bring Vin to school. It really pays to have friends to share trade secrets to remain ageless.

Tonsils

I noticed Vin has been making several grunting sounds everytime he eats ... like he is clearing his throat or something. At first it did not bother me but it went on for three days i had reason to worry. I brought to a nearby pediatrician for first aid help because his pediatrician holds clinic in Makati and we would have to wait until the weekend to set an appointment. I explained to him that we will be going to a new one for now and he readily agreed. The "new" doctor was amazed on how well behaved Vin was during the entire testing, especially when he was asked to sit on the manual exam tables that they had, he was very still and very cooperative. They checked his nose passage ... clear. Checked his ear .. clear. Checked his mouth and they saw his tonsils were a little red and that he had a few lymph nodes which signaled that his body was fighting an infection. He was told to cut down on sweets and to drink more water to combat it. We were also given antibiotics to take for seven days. I know all will be well as soon as he finsihes the treatment .... we are scheduled to go back and see the doctor after three days. No worries.
