Home At Last

We are home!

After texting our neighbor giving us the go signal that the front of our house has been filled up we trekked home! I have so many things to do at home, have so many projects to finish, i also have to go and have the kids (three of them now) enrolled, have their uniforms measured (they grow up so fast), get their textbooks, and buy them shoes. What a list!

Of course there is still the summer cleaning i vowed to do, which by the way is almost done, just a few more clean up in the kitchen cupboards and i am considered cleaned ... hehehe!

Happy to be home!

ps. the road construction is starting on the houses across us ... so the peace and quiet will soon end ... but i can take that as long as there are no more holes directly in front of us ... i can handle that.

Not Home

We are not home.

We are at my mom's house since we cannot handle the noise in our house because our streets are being fixed (which did not even look destroyed in the first place ... sigh) the whole excavation process is driving me nuts ... and get this ... they do not stop even at night! They practically work 24/7 .. and the said thing is we (the residents) were not even given any notice that digging would happen .. we are practically caught unaware. The front of our house now is one big hole that stretches on both sides, so if we want to leave the house we have to trek the muddy (and it is soooo sticky) single file what is left of our pavement to the far end where the digging stops then cross. The kids end up having icky shoes and toes. I carry Vin while the girls walk ... what a big inconvenience.

Our car by the way is parked so far away too. I even bring bottles of water in softdrinks containers to wash their feet and shoes before riding the car .. but it is still so sticky.

I have a lot of projects to do so hopefully i can come home in a few days. Sigh.

Bea and Sam Creations

Bea and Sam are big fans of Love and Berry!

They play the arcade everytime we go ad they have a big collection of the cards that have different kinds of hairstyles, accessories, dress, blouse, gowns, shoes and even make-up. I got them trading cards album each so their cards will be organized.

The album had a clear plastic envelope in front so they could out a picture in front to identify whose albun is whose. I gave them a crash course in designing and after a few minutes they both came up with nice designs on their own.

I printed them out and now they are on their albums. :)

Will try and pass by Time Zone or Power Station later when Christian comes from the office before the arcade closes for the two days. I just love watching their eyes light up when a new card is released in the machine when they play, and believe me they can have hours talking about their cards and comparing them.

Birthday Coming

Christian's birthday will be coming soon .. and knowing me i want to buy ahead of time, gives me more chances for me to give more than one gift. I also want to give something he does not have yet and not to be predictable like shirts, shorts and shaving stuff (which i always give him anyway.. hahaha!)


I am no wsurfing the net for cool sports gifts that he will like and am sure he will be surprised and the same time keep him fit and healthy! He has laways been into sports (varsity player in volleyball and basketball) before we got married but it has gone to the backseat for quite a time. Well, it is now time to revive it nad get him back to sports ... though he is still active in bowling and manages to come up with tournaments ... it would be a good gift for him ... a gift of good fitness!

Here is Vin having a grand time playing bowling .. anything with balls .. he is not into shooting games/wrestling/fighting games.

The girls love Love and Berry machines and have a vast collection of cards that they really treasure. We went to greenhills last weekend to buy them trading card albums for ease in their play time.

I promised to bring them to the arcade tomorrow before it closes for the Holy Week ... still a toss up if we are going to Boni High or Rockwell.

I for one am starting to like the dance machine .. hehehe!

Travel In Comfort

Summer activities are all set!

Trips are ready and am glad the kids are used to taking long car rides with no complaints, i look for things to bring while on the road, they also like playing "I Spy" and other fun car games. I also have a portable dvd player strapped on the back of my headrest for their viewing when they are tired of playing.

Wish we had a rv for long trips ... we would surely get far and in style and comfort! Wow, just imagine relaxing while on the road! The trip will actually start the moment we start on the road trip ... yey!
