Polaroids

Was trying to headstart summer cleaning when i saw these polaroids from Sam and Vin's photo shoot ... they were so small then .. hehehe! Kids really grow up so fast, and you don't even notice it ... hold on to them tighter because in a blink of an eye they are all grown up.

Here are all the magazine and newspaper pages where all my three kids appeared in. It all started with Bea ... all the way to Vin! Enjoy looking!

Ebay Rush

I just love Ebay!

Yup, aside from blogging, Ebay holds a special place in my internet time!

I have been consistently landing good deals and i really love the adrenalin rush when the bidding time is about to end and i place "the" winning bid .. hahaha! Cheap fun, huh!

But really, i enjoy shopping online that is why my Gcash is always full to pay for the "do i really need this?" purchase. I buy mostly for the kids, come to think of it after all the purchases i made, i have not bought not one thing for myself ... just the pure pleasure of bidding and winning and seeing the eyes of my little ones light up when the courier arrives!

I have made my purchases for the morning now and i still have to watch for some items later in the evening so expect one window open for Ebay. I have to finish up with all me design work before the holy week comes as everything will be closed so i need to have them sent to my printer before the week ends .. piece of cake! Hahaha!

I also have some duties for Christian as i am helping him researcxh on many things for his work, need to get him details on financial things like the ins and outs of debt consolidation, get him the prevailing interest rates for loans and other things that i jotted down in my notebook .. which i should actually be looking into now instead of Ebay .. hehehe! Will work on it now, promise!

I Love Blogging

Just want to say how much i love my blogs .... and blogging!

This is really a great venue to express my thoughts, share happenings not just with pictures but with the emotions accompanying it!

This is just a short post to say that .... i heart my blogs ... all of them! :)

Dolls For Now

When Bea celebrated her birthday all she really wanteed were Bratz dolls and this i was lucky enough to get online! All of my gifts were all purchased through Ebay (Local and International) and these are toys that are not available here that is why i really love surfing and shopping there. I was looking at the wide array of things being sold there and was thinking of what else to buy for the kids. It just dawned on me that in maybe a couple of years from now Bea will no longer be interested to play with dolls and this time i will be shopping for nice jewelry for my growing tween! She is growing up way too fast and i won't be surprised if she even towers over me in a matter of years. My little girl will be lady soon! (Nostalgia music enters ..) Hehehe!

Help Is Here

A stable job really can help make end meet especially if you have a growing family who has more needs everyday. Being a provider for them really has it's tolls and sometimes when the going gets tough and you are stricken with a disability that requires you to stop working you are left at a dead end and have nowhere else to go. Luckily, there is a stable and reputable help in getting and claiming your disability insurance and really get what is due you. Allsup has been proven up to 97% success rate in getting it if you course your SSDI claims through them. Finally, this is something that will somehow ease the burden ... as help is on the way.

Good Year

My two girls (Grade 2 and Grade 4) joined their Recognition day with awards to end this school year. I am so proud of them because of the good attitude they have for school and am very thankful for that. Bea and Sam love school and are excited to start the next school year again .. not too soon for me ... heheheh ... will make most of the summer break! Will be getting them to join the McDonald's Summer Crew Camp as their request and more summer activities for my eager learners!

His actual birthday was on a Wednesday so i took him and his sisters for an entire day of play .. and they had so much fun! Christian just followed there after office and we had dinner together. We got home a little past 1am and passed by Jollibee for breakfast (yup, they serve pancakes!) for a nice treat before they all dozed off int he car on the way home. They were all tired .. but happy! :)

Best Picture In Caliraya

This is actually one of the most talked about picture among hundreds of pictures from our camping trip! This is my sister Loren trying to find the best spot to lie down and get a tan (yet it was too cold so she decided to bundle up) while Bea sat beside her to draw the scenery and keep her company. Lol! I am sure she is thinking where are the good and comfortable outdoor furniture when you need one!

Wise Buying

I have been frequenting cool shopping sites for great deals on really good stuff for my kids since last year thanks to the internet! I have bought a lot of items from Amazon, Ebay (local and international) and at Buy.com. My eyes actually light up when i see the words Sale on my screen! And believe me after i compare mall prices and those on the internet there is a huge savings and i am happy to have discovered my newest calling ... hahahah!

I just loving buying things for my kids, i actually have not bought anything for myself yet ... just thinking about it makes me excited. lol!

Eleven Years And Counting

I am a full pledged Mom for eleven years and loving every minute of it!

Yup, Bea celebrated her birthday last weekend and she had a great time! I have no trouble pleasing my kids .. they have very simple pleasures ... so easy to get the smiles i treasure. Bea had a school party a day before her birthday and one more on her birthday and she got lots of gifts.

Her name is "Beatrice" and it meant "bringer of joy" ... she really brings me joy and continues to bring me happiness just by being her. I love my first born! My first time to be a mom ... and am still a work in progress!

School Party

Just got back from Bea's school party .. it was a blast!

They had their final exams today so i decided to talk to an ice cream cart and a shredded corn cart to come in to school and that will be Bea's treat not only to her clasmates but to all her friends!

Everybody had a grand time lining up getting ice cream and corn and found it a novelty that all was for free .. hehehe!

Bea had a lot of presents even from other graders as she is a very friendly girl, a grade six boy student (Bea is in grade 4) handed me a present and said to please give it to Bea and said "Bea is my best friend." Bea was still taking her test when the carts came in but since the other kids might go home already we started giving out the treats. Other did not want to get first and said they would wait for Bea, but i insisted that they just eat again when Bea is done. They happily approached the carts.

After around 15 minutes, Bea came out the classroom and was surprised that everybody suddenly sang her a happy birthday song! She was so suprised .. imagine coming out of a hard test and seeing food carts inside the school.

She also did some balloon twisting (making dogs is her forte) for her friends who all wanted one. She posed for pictures with her friends and teachers too.

Bea said this was one of her happiest school birthday since the whole school was practically invited! lol!

The nice thing about this too is i did not have to prepare for anything, and the kids all ate something they all liked! I told the children to line up again if they wanted some more. Bea's teacher said it was like having a fiesta in school. I saw a little boy asking for more ice cream while the manong said "No more for you, you already ate six." Hahahah!

All in all the important thing here is Bea had fun ... and she ate three cups of shredded corn with cheese and one ice cream cone.

Bea will turn eleven tomorrow, her real birthday, March 14!

Summer Just In

The summer heat is really driving me insane .. hehehe!

Our venetian blinds in the room gets hot too and i feel since it is made out of vinyl it keeps and retains the heat more. I have told Christian about it and he told me to go and look for nice Bamboo shades that will replace the venetian blinds we have. He said it would keep the heat out and yet allow the room to breathe and bring in new air because it is made out of bamboo. I could not agree more! Anything to make me withstand the heat!

Zip, Zip Away

My sister Loren and i have been eager beavers to try the new craze in Tagaytay ... the Zipline! My sister was the one who discovered it and showed me the pictures on the internet ... some of them were riding it faced down ... hmmmm ... being this our "first time" we opt to take it sitting down (literally!) ... heheheh!

It was so high and looking down really will leave you breathless.

A one way ride costs P200 .. and if you want your picture taken when you just leave the platform you add P100 more ... that we did. We asked Christian and the kiddies to meet us at the other end, my sister took a video of the ride while we were on it.

To say it was fun is an understatement ... it was FUN!

You ask if i shrieked .. another understatement ... i shrieked like there was no tomorrow ... a good stress buster really!

My sister even said, had i not made a sound she would not too .. but hey it made the ride more thrilling .. complete with sound effects! Bea, Sam and Vin said "Mama. we heard you even if you were still on the other side .. it was sooo loud!" Hahahha! So there!

The official photo of Tagaytay Zipline, seconds after leaving the area .. smiling but holding on to dear life!

Christian took this picture from the other side ...

Wheee!!!

Yikes, there wree a lot of people on the other side to our amazement ... hehehe! So they all heard it ... hahaha!

Detangling from a contraption that moments ago was like my second skin .. lol!

Whew .. it was worth the ride ... next time we will doing it lying face down .. till the next Zip!

Tagaytay Picnic This Time

After enduring a four hour car ride (two stopovers included) we decided to make a shorter trip this time .. we went toTagaytay for a little picnic and heavy family bonding.

The first meeting place was at Jollibee for some yummy breakfast (the kids love their pancakes) while i got some dumplings at the nearby Hen-Lin as i have already eaten breakfast before we left while i was packing our picnic basket. Multi-tasking .. hehehe!

Then we set out fo a short hour and a half ride, the kids singing to their heart's content and headed to our first stop .. the Tagaytay Picnic Grove.

There we went down and went straight to the Zipline to try it out having seen it on the internet .. hehe! Will blog about it next.

Then we went to our "real" picnic are near Taalena Restaurant where we started to have some delicious inihiaw ... my favorite! Played some cards, while the younger ones played the entire day! We were able to fly some kites and play tag even in the scorching heat. My sister Loren and my favorite niece Mikka and had some serious bonding time lying down in our mat munching away on Lays potato chips and drowning ourselves in cola!

Good thing there was a by nearby makeshift bathroom with a water hose so i gave the kiddies two baths each to freshen up. That means six showers ... whew. Tired? Yes i was .. but seeing their faces light up again after the cool bath is enough to give me the strength .. hahaha!

Just look how happy they were playing all day with their cousins.

Next week again!
