School Party

Just got back from Bea's school party .. it was a blast!

They had their final exams today so i decided to talk to an ice cream cart and a shredded corn cart to come in to school and that will be Bea's treat not only to her clasmates but to all her friends!

Everybody had a grand time lining up getting ice cream and corn and found it a novelty that all was for free .. hehehe!

Bea had a lot of presents even from other graders as she is a very friendly girl, a grade six boy student (Bea is in grade 4) handed me a present and said to please give it to Bea and said "Bea is my best friend." Bea was still taking her test when the carts came in but since the other kids might go home already we started giving out the treats. Other did not want to get first and said they would wait for Bea, but i insisted that they just eat again when Bea is done. They happily approached the carts.

After around 15 minutes, Bea came out the classroom and was surprised that everybody suddenly sang her a happy birthday song! She was so suprised .. imagine coming out of a hard test and seeing food carts inside the school.

She also did some balloon twisting (making dogs is her forte) for her friends who all wanted one. She posed for pictures with her friends and teachers too.

Bea said this was one of her happiest school birthday since the whole school was practically invited! lol!

The nice thing about this too is i did not have to prepare for anything, and the kids all ate something they all liked! I told the children to line up again if they wanted some more. Bea's teacher said it was like having a fiesta in school. I saw a little boy asking for more ice cream while the manong said "No more for you, you already ate six." Hahahah!

All in all the important thing here is Bea had fun ... and she ate three cups of shredded corn with cheese and one ice cream cone.

Bea will turn eleven tomorrow, her real birthday, March 14!
