Had our Family picture last weekend and everyone was in their elements .. the funny part is after ( and mostly before) the official photographer can take a shot we were also taking shots with our own camera .. and boy did we take a lot of pictures! We had different settings for the shots, there were shots with the whole family, grandchildren, boys only, girls only and solo shots too! I wonder what picture will land on top of the tv high on the tv stand where my mama displays her favorite pictures of the family ... i don't think it can fit all the pictures .. hehehe!

Chilly Mornings

Ooohhh ... i just love this weather!

The breeze is cool and this is my favorite which is why i opt to live in Baguio and give up the city life. Early mornings are the best for me ... i love it!

The temperature in Baguio is nine degrees now ... can i handle it? hahaha! I will have to get a nice and cozy electric blanket if we really push through next year. Will have to stock up on long johns, leggings and warm socks too!

I just like the cool weather the December and January brings!

Christmas 2008

I can't believe Christmas day is over ... the kids LOVED all their gifts and as i blog they are still busy playing with their new toys (they have opened and tried half pa lang of their new stuff)! I took few pictures (few daw oh!) since i asked Christian to videotape it instead while they unwrapped the gifts so they can appreciate it more when they grow up and view the dvds.

I started my Christmas shopping as early as October and ended December 23 .. hahahahaha!

I am very lucky to have three kids who play together, kaya sulit mga toys nila kasi they hae instant playmates! Bea and Sam was really excited over the new Bratz dolls and the dollhouse! Vin was very thrilled he got his tractor wish ... hehehe! Everybody happy!

Merry Christmas everybody! Hope your Christmas was great too!

After we they opened our gifts (this was around 11:00 pm) for them we went to my Mama's house for our noche buena .. and more gifts!

Cool Fun

Took the girls ice skating .. and in just a few minutes they were on their own! Kids are really fast learners!

Baguio Raincheck

Decided to forgo the Baguio Christmas plans ... maybe summer.

Was watching the news a few minutes back and saw that Baguio as bombarded with 150,000 tourists this Christmas season .. close call!

I guess it was a good decision not to go, surely the kids won't enjoy the crowd.

Sourgraping?! Hahaha!

Cool Holidays

If things fall into place we are off to my favorite place this month .. Baguio!

My sisters ang i are planning on a Baguio trip during the long break .. we leave right after Christmas and come back before new year. Acomodations are already being negotiated (peak season din kasi Baguio now) so we will see.

It's 12 degrees celsius there now .... chilly!

Will finalize everything this Saturday.

Beauty Has No Shortcuts

I went through it again ... hahaha!

Yup, i sat down for seven hours (almost double from the last time i had my hair rebonded) i was actually the first client and i saw a lot of the customers come in and go .. beauty knows no shortcuts!

I originally was ready for a three hour appointment .. but after weighing my options and since i was free (kids were home with Christian) i got the full rebond package and added hair spa and permanent color too .. bring it on!

I went through two food errands (my good sylist was kind enough to buy me, but of course i bought him too, so ensure a full stomach when he handles my hair .. hehe!), around 4 requests to stretch and 3 bathroom breaks .. whew! I remember the time when i also made several trips to my derma for acne treatments and now i reap the results, so i guess no wait no beauty!

Took a picture of the "Before Do"

The "During Do" .. taken after three hours, just finished blowdrying and was ready for ironing number 1 (the rebonding process requires two ironing sessions)

Sorry, no "After Do" since i barely had strength to smile .. heehe! But its really nice, silky, smooth and soft ... will post pics soon!

So if someone will ask me, "Wow, rebond?" and expect me to answer "No, shampoo lang yan" (From the famous hair shampoo commercial) i will sat "No, RREEEBBBOONND .. all 7 hours of it!" But, i love the results! Just wish there was a way to shorten it. But again, all good things happen to those who WAIT! Hahaha!

Rain

It's been raining again.

I welcome the rain ... love the sound ... the cool breeze it gives ... but not when i have clothes line filled with damp clothes! I slaved away the whole two days and now i am on the verge of blowing air into them to dry ... lol!

I go up to the laundry area from time to time hoping that some of it are dry ... i get a few pieces and hang them in the kids room with the help of the fan to speed up the drying process ... looks like i am succeeding though ... good thing i stocked up on nice smelling fabric conditioner!

Christmas Clothes

I remember when we were smaller, my mom was really big on getting us new clothes for Christmas and it has been a great activity for us (my siter and i) to pick what we wanted to wear for the holidays. It was something to look forward to, a chance to show off ... hahaha!

Now that i have two girls on my own i too have brought that tradition to them every year. Luckily i was searching the net for nice and best buy deals when i came across Shopwiki and found their selection of clothes really great! The prices are really the best you can find as it caters to a lot of stores!

I was able to find smart looking dresses for Bea and Sam in just a short time! I was also able to choose from casual dresses even accessories to match their Chrismas wardrobe!

I am sure the girls would love wearing them!

Dolled Up

Yesterday, took Bea, Sam and their cousin Marielle to the Bratz World exclusive event .. and they had fun! They played to their heart's content with different kind of Bratz dolls, then waited for their turn to have a Bratz make-over! After the make-over they were brough to the Bratz bedroom to pick the wardrobe they want to wear for their pictorial! The clothes were actually the designs of the dolls but is children's sizes and they had fun dressing up as their favorite Bratz doll. Here are a few pictures from the gazillions i took! lol!
