Mission Accomplished

Finally, i was able to change the overall look of my design site .. exactly the way i want it!

Gone are the pink flowery background ... striped pink and yellow borders ... i want it bold, black and striking! Hahaha! It lets out a message that i mean business ... (monkey business, lol!) ... and yet colorful and alive to meet the the needs of my beaituful loyal clients.

Looking Svelte

My sister is tinkering on the idea of being a ramp model ... she has the height, the look and the body for it ... so i am encouraging her to go and try her luck there. I am sure she will enjoy the pressure of being a model and the constant need to look good, slim and svelte all the time.

I am also giving her a heads up that is for some reason she does gain weight she has Lipovox to rely on to get her back in shape. I have heard from friends that it can actually improve your complexion as well as the unwanted fat because of the natural ingredients that makes it. It is said to be the best diet pill around!

Fun Cards

Went to Rockwell last Saturday and got the girls their own Power Station VIP Cards, wanted to get one for Vin too but he did not like to have his picture taken, so we just borrowed Sam's card when we need to tap it to play. Everybody happy!

Magnify Me

Was buying materials for my project when i bumped into a former batchmate and was really surprised on how svelte she looks, so i went ahead and told her upfront that she really looks nice and lean from the last time we saw each other. She told me that she has not had a liposuction but is taking appetite suppressants that really worls for her ... it shows!

My kids at the time we were talking animately were keeping themselves busy playing with an oversized magnifying glass .. kids really cam make do with the idle time thay gave in their hands and put it to good use .. hahaha!

Freshen Up

I just love lounges ... especially in a crowded mall i really appreciate the comfort of paid powder rooms ... it's so clean! The kids can also have time to relax and freshen up before we head out the the shopping madness! By the way a 3day sale at SM will be coming at the end of the month .. i can't wait!

Waiting Creatively

While waiting for our orders the kiddies were given crayons and drawings to color and of course the three hungry kids colored with all gusto. I really like going to places where they are thiking of the attention span of their small customers .. hehehe!

Color Fun!

They really love to color and paint and i really try and give them materials for this creative and fun activity, not only do they enjoy they are mastering their colors, dexterity and blending skills. I on the other hand would love to learn how to airbrush as this is gaining popularity with the details you can put in your artwork.

Christmas Gifts Brainstorming

The list of people we will be giving gifts to this year is growing ... hehhehe, so careful planning and brainstorming is needed to be able to give the perfect gift and still remain resaonable and within the budget to accomodate everyone on our list.

There are some relatives who are in the United States that we would like to give gifts to so we are thinking of joining a wine of the month club to solve the discriminating taste of our relatives there. Perfect gift .. solved.

Pretty Cookies

Bea and Sam had a great time decorating cookies from Marta's yesterday. Bea just likes to decorate but does not eat them .. Sam on the other hand just loves eating them! Bea's cookies had me and Vin as the lucky recepients of the yummy and colorful cookies.

Lawyers With A Cause

I was watching a movie last week about a single mother who raised her only daughter stricken with cerebral palsy and i was crying all throughout. I really could relate to the feeling to the character being a mother myself. She endured so many trials with her daughter, and the sad thing about this was it was all because of a medical blunder during the birth. Negligence by her doctor caused it ... it could all have been prevented if only the doctor took extra care. It's amazing that things like these do happen in real life thus the popularity of cerebral palsy lawyers nowadays. Somehow having these lawyers with this kind of expertise lets the doctors take extra precaution as they could easily land a lawsuit from their negligence.

October Coming Up

Just when i thought Septemeber was just starting i am surprised to be receiving inquiries for Halloween invitations only then do i realize that October is coming up in a couple of days! Time really flies fast .. i can hardly keep up.

Halloween costumes of the three kids should be finalized by next week to be able to prepare for it in time for Oct 31. As per writing, Bea wants to be Kim Possible, Sam as Hannah Montana and Vin remains to be loyal to the "Red Power Ranger" ... hope we arrive at the final choice soon.

Sammie Turns Eight

Sam sat beside me the entire time i made this invite, i let her pick the charachter of the Winx Club (which is currently her favorite .. next to Bratz of course!) since she can't have a Bratz theme because she had that least year she decided on the Winx.

Have decided to order pizza and pasta from Greenwhich, some chocolate ice cream and juice. I still have to finish filling up the lootbags this weekend and we are all set!

Pet Lovers

Clearly you can see that my kids jusy love pets and cares for them so much!

Both Bea and Sam were winners in the Pet Life contest in a popular broadsheet ... the only requirement was to send a short essay and photo showing how you love your pet.

Now we have a rabbit and some fish that the kids really adore and take care of. Even is the fish look identical to me the kids can still identify who they are as they gave names .. hehehe!
Love for pets is something that we parents must nurture and keep the flame growing for our children by supporting them. Just joined a great site that keeps pet lovers around the world connected for the love for their pets! They conduct drives to help shelters, donate pet food and even give a shelter make-over. You get to meet a lot of great pet partners and be amazed on how they show their love for their pet. So if you are a pet lover ... go ahead and join the group!

Swim Break

Last Saturday i went to the girl's school to get their repord cards and was happy with their grades. I also has a chance to talk to all (and i mean ALL) their teachers to get firsthand information about the girls in school. They all said that my girls are very well behaved and attentive ... felt so proud! They are in school from 7 am till 3 pm so it is important for me to know how they are in school.

Honestly i am not grade conscious (the girls know this) for me they are just numbers, you can get high grades by cheating (hehehe) what is important for me is that they are having fun learning and that it is not a chore for them. So far so good ... they are enjoying themselves and it shows in their grades ( icing on the cake!) what more can i ask for.

When we got home told them to get their suits ready (since the weather was sunny) and i will take then for a swim at the clubhouse ... so off we went for their impromptu swimming break!

They sure had fun .. they finished swimming at 5 pm. They had the pool all to themselves!

Great Stroller Buy

My friend is about to give birth anytime and she is really all ready for the big day! She has on hand baby clothes, bath essential, crib and even diapers. She is asking for my help in choosing the best stroller since i have three kids she feels i know how fast children grow and she wants to get the best for her little pumpkin and still get her money's worth.

I was happy to share with her my experience with our Bugaboo stroller and how we were able to use it for a long time. I told her this is one thing that my kids grew up with since we used it from newborn even past toddler years. She excitedly told me to accompany here next week to shop for one because like i said she is due to pop any time!

Sam is Growing Fast

In just a few days my Sammie girl will be turning eight!

We have been frequenting malls and letting her pick what she likes as a present for her birthday and suprisingly she still leaning towards toys as presents .. she is not so grown up after all ... i sigh in relief. hahaha!

She has pointed a few dolls that she "likes" and i said "We'll see..." hehehe!

Will shop for her presents tomorrow when i hit the mall!

Filipiniana Girls

I am happy with the Filipiniana clothes we got for the girls .. they were a bit pricey ( how ironic) but all the same i got it for them and whats nice about the skirts are they are wrap around skirts, so they can still use it for years .. hehehe!

I actually wore Sam's costume when we got home .. and it fit me!

Manhattan Opportunties

My sister and i were surfing the internet as she is thinking of relocating to New York before the year ends. We were looking at the opprtunities available for her there, she is excited as there is a promise of a good career there. We are now drafting power Manhattan resumes to land her a good job there. She is excited to browse through the different careers waiting for her. I only wish her the best .. she deserves it!

Our Diorama

This is Sam's diorama project for school, it is to showcase one place in the Philippines and she chose Rizal Park. This project was displayed last week in their Linggo ng Wika celebration ... am so proud of her!

Weekend Mall Work

Christian will be manning the approval department for new line subscribers this entire weekend starting today. Globe launched a promo for cellphones, there are low priced prepaid phone kits as low as a thousand!

This Myphone unit is on sale for less than 2k! It comes complete with simcard i think .. hehehe!

He also mentioned that they also buy second hand phones there too .. am thinking of bringing our old models and finally get them changed to new units.

He will be there till sunday ... so you now know where i will be too .. lol!

Be In Check

The weather nowadays is really putting our health on the line. One day it is sunny that you actually get dizzy with the heat and come the next day you greet the day with a rain storm. Not only are the kids affected by this erratic weather change but us adults as well. Was just talking to my friemd who came from the doctor complaining about serious bronchitis, she was prescribed to take Levaquin to remedy this. She is now looking at the drug indications over the internet and look why it was prescribed to her. It is always a good idea to be sure.

From her search she found out that is one reliable drug for chronic bronchitis ... she is now more secure in taking it knowing she is taking the right drug. Always good to be in check!

Buzzzz

I am overwhelmed with the design work i have on hand ... its really enough to keep me busy for a few weeks ... again i am not complaining ... just overwhelmed and yes i sometimes feel burned out.

Happily my clients have not felt the heat .. hahaha .. as i am as cool as a cucumber when i talk to them and discuss about their requirements with all the energy i have left.

I guess you could say i have found my calling .. and this is where i am now ... just in the right place!
