Twitter Bug Bit Me

Joined Twitter today!

My nieces and some friends are into it so i looked at it and it does sound interesting.
So what is Twitter?

Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

I am still trying my hand on it though .. exploring ... uploaded the widget here though, but i still do not really know how to go about it .. hehehe!

Will keep you posted as soon as i get the hang of it.

Rare Collection

Bea is starting her fancy with coins ever since she came home with an old coin from her teacher. I have always supported her in any way i can. This time around this is what she wants to do, she likes to start a collection on rare coins and this coin she has will start her off. I have researched sites for obtaining information to suffice her thirst for knowledge in the coin department and was happy that i found Monaco Rare Coin, a site where there is everything you want to know about old and rare coins. I am thinking of purchasing one since all their coins are genuine so i am sure that i will not go wrong. Will ask Bea what she likes before i talk to Christian about it.

Raining Again

It's raining hard here ...

Looks like pagabi na kaagad kahit 3 pa lang ng hapon ... hay.

I am scheduled pa naman for a facial (heheh, yun pala yun noh), have been delaying it for the longest time because of the work load (plus assignments of the girls, may matching projects pa) and here i am keeping my fingers (sama na din toes) na i can sneak a trip to the mall.

Oh well .. hope things clear out soon.

My New Do

Was on a spur of the hair moment last week (blogged about that, you will see it if you scroll down) that lasted for 5 hours ... anyway here is the new "Me"

From my full head of hair ... now slimmed down after the rebonding .. hehehe! Could just not tuck my hair behind my ear just yet in this picture (will leave marks ..hahah!)

So after the 5 hour salon experience had to go and attend to my duties in the mall ... i have been looking and canvassing for reasonably priced light fixtures for our house and have been scouring the net too.

The salon experience is really for the books .. imagine five straight hours!

FACTS ABOUT MELISSE

1. I have been a Full Time Stay At Home Mom eversince we got married ... waited lang two weeks after gettig married before i was really called mom to little bea in my tummy.

2. Never had a yaya (nanny) for my three children.

3. Have had three gruelling and memorable cesarean deliveries .. all documented in print (feautured in Baby Magazine) ... hehehe!

4. Started a design business in my own and until now have had not hired outside help with all my projects and is still booming.

5. I really want to live in Baguio!

6. I was Christian's very first girlfriend ... ako din first "real" (i know you know what you mean ..lol!) boyfriend ko si Christian.

Funny talaga kids! And all this time we were taking these shots Christian was talking over the phone to an officemate who was raving about the cpm
that they currently have in their office, i heard him say that it really speeds up the efficiency of their work output. He only has nice words for it. I was listening in while taking the wacky shots of the kids who patiently waited him to finish the phone call.

Mushi King Topples Pokemon

Bea and Sam (and Vin nakikisali lang really) are into Mushi King Beetle cards. Gone are the days of the Pokemon cards and pogs, i don't know what to do with these things now .. as in super dami!

These Mushi King cards naman comes out of a video playing machine after you put in 5 (Yes, 5! ubos money ko!) tokens every play. A card is dispensed then you swipe it in a card reader and you supposedly arm your beetle with the skill cards ... so the more cards you swipe the better for your beetle warrior ... so you can imagine kung ilang beses sila naglalaro (at 5 token per play ha!) .. can't let go of the thought pa din. hehehe!

I got them card holders each para they can keep their cards on file. Vin on the other hand has a few cards but would pass on playing it when he sees the basketball gameing area .. hehe!

So the beetle has biten my two girls along with my wallet .. lol!

Trade Secret

My uncle has just retired and is enjoying his free time at home. To while away his time he has been frequenting reputable online casinos in the comfort of his own home. He enjoys playing and he has been boasting of winning many of the feautured games there, he said he has a trade secret ... after my prodding he finally said he was able to view an online casino bluebook where he gets his information on which online gaming area is good to go to. He even said he knows ahead where there are bonuses and free play because he also subscribed to the free newsletter. He really knows how to have fun in style!

Hair Make Over

Yesterday was a record breaking salon treatment for me! I can't even believe i spent five whole hours there! I was walking aound the mall when i decided to have my hair rebonded, kind of a spur of the moment thing. Christian was so nice and really encouraged me to go and take it considering i was already told that the process will take more than three hours.

But since Christian would take care of Vin and pick up the girls in school .. i actually had the day free. So i went inside and did it.

Since i was already there (a rare time for me to indulge in my hair needs..lol!) i decided to cap it off with a cellophane, para kumpleto na ang barkada .. hahha!

So there i was five hours and fifteen minutes to be exact and went out the salon looking like a new woman .. hahaha!

Now as i write this i still can't tuck my hair behind my ear st it will make a permanent crease in my newly bonded hair (hehehe, arte!) so i am working with hair all over my face (but excuse super staright, silky soft, pang commercial hair ..ewan ko lang pag pinaliguan ito ..hahah!)

So anyway, happy ako with the outcome of my spur of the moment hair spree ... but boy was my back in pain, tagal ko kayang nakaupo, di ko na nga pinapansin mga magazine kasi i was getting sleepy na din.

Well beauty really has no shortcuts ... hehehe!

Boys Play

Vin's favorite cousin Anton (he is seven years old) is the only boy amongst the cousins that is why they always find time to play with each other away from the girls who loves barbies and bratz .. hahaha!

They are both power rangers! Here they are playing with their "power ranger swords" happily, but you can see that they are not hurting each other in any way, all of this is done in slow motion .. lol!

Boys

Lately, Vin has been taking Christian's hand over mine when we are all together ... boy bonding! Christian would often say "Hey, where is my partner?" and Vin would run and take his hand beating the two girls to it ... hahah!

So we are now gender coded when we go out, i have the two girls with me while Christian and Vin are the official "partners"! Happy together!

Birthday Errands

Will be leaving in a few minutes to get Christian a surprise cake for his "salubong" (a celebration we traditionally do at 12:00 midnight, eve of his birthday) am still thinking if i will buy a chocolate or mocha cake. Icecream is definitely Mocha flavored!

Will give Vin a bath first and then off to the mall and be back fast because the girls will be coming home from school in two hours.

Goodluck to me and these tasks will need the help of my hiddenpowers ... up, up and away!

Timely Gift

It's Christian's birthday tomorrow!

Trivia lang, do you know that i am two years older than him? (di lang halata .. wishing .. hahah!)

He has found a liking to Festina watches so what more perfect gift for him but a great looking timepiece? Got this handsome watch through their website and was delivered two weeks ago ... am so excited to see his face when the kids hand it over to him tonight (eve of his birthday) and tomorrow he will be on leave ... but we can't go anywhere right away just yet, have to wait for the girls to come ho,e from school first.

Turn by Turn

Brought my kids to MOA's Kid's Republic Playground the other day and as expected they had fun running and jumping around the inflatables and sliding on the slides. I always make it a point to do something for the three kids when we go out because i bring them along to all my errands and i have not heard anyone complain when i go on my business because they know after i am done it will be their turn ... hehehe! Last week's mission was looking around for computer desks to replace my old one, it is getting too crowded, i want a nice one with a lot of space for my knick knacks. We both patiently wait for our turns to do our thing, good compromise!

Sad but possible

Had my annual pap smear last week, and got the results today ... i am cancer free. Makes me appreciate a lot of things. I have been surrounded with people who have been diagnosed with cancer and it is really a possibility for just about anyone. It just dawned on me that there are a lot of cancer that i still do not know about ... like mesothelioma which is also an alarming state as it it goes to the vital organs of the body. I pray that there be a sure cure (painless too) for the dreaded cancer soon.

My Shadow

Vin is like my shadow ... wherever i go ... he goes! I have a lot of errands and client meetups so he always comes prepared in the car .. hahah! Look at him lying down complete with pillow and comforter, may baon pa yang water and sticko :)

Even if i have to take a tricycle ride to a friends house in the village he is always raring to go .. Vin my little shadow.

I asked him "Bibin, when you smile like that can you still see me?" and he answers, "Uh, nope." hahaha!

Godmother Duties

My bestfriend since highschool is finally pregnant ... and i am one of the soon to be Godmother ... i am so thrilled to be given such a role in her little baby's life. So to start my Godmotherly duties my other friends and i will be giving her a baby shower party next month. She is now six months on the way and have had her ultrasound .. it's a baby girl! It sure will be a sweet surprise for her, and we are all excited to be part of this special event.



I took the liberty and searched for good looking and affordable (yes we are on a budget ..hahaha!) baby cribs to welcome the little girl when she makes her entrance. Found this white classy one and looks really comfortable to sleep in and even when she can stand up she can still use this as the sides are high to accomodate a toddler too.





Also on the lookout for durable travel cots that she can take anywhere when they visit their inlaws on the weekends, planning ahead huh? hahaha!











My friends and i have decided to get this red number for she will defintitely be in need of pushchairs when she goes to the mall or just enjoy a stroll around their village. Since i have had three children i am more cautious and practical in getting baby furniture and baby things because i know how fast they grow up and eventually outgrow the things ... but with the choices i have made for my friend i am very confident taht it will be put to good use for a long time. She can even use these things with her next babies .. if they have more, hahaha!

Office Supplies Shopping

My sister's newly opened office is really in full swing, finally we got all the permits secured and now we are on our next step on getting the place ready for the big opening. My sister has a keen on eye on details as she is an interior designer. I must say her taste is impeccable.

She has been frequenting places to get cheap and quality office supplies to save and is buying wholesale to get her money's worth. She says the prices are way lower than the ones in the mall plus she is buying direct from the supplier who offers a whole range of office supply to meet her needs. She got this efficient and high tech label maker at a very low price. I already asked her to lend it to me for a day as i would love to label Bea and Sam's school things with this cool gadget! When we were younger i remember our Dymo labeler in neon color strips :)

Browsed the site too and saw this handsome foot rest, and it doubles as a massager too ... wow! This is something i will surely get one of these days to get my soles well rejuvenated while i slave away at the computer.

Our Own Book

Finally got my book na ... and i am so happy with it!

I am really looking forward to starting their own book each, will start rummaging through pictures to scan (hopefully by next month as i am still swamped with design work) and really complete their book.
