New pets ... quack quack quack!

We were outside and we chanced upon a bird vendor selling colored (dyed --- pity the creatures) chicks and regular ducklings. I had ducklings when i was small and i suddenly had a pang of child memories that i hurriedly called the man and let the kids pick two ducklings.

They were excited and chose a light colored one (girl who Vin called "Gold duck") and a regular colored one ("Nice duck" as coined by Vin) and told them my duckling stories.

Happily they were amazed to kbow that i was able to make my ducklings grow into full grown ducks when i was in grade school.

So here we are now with a fish in a bowl (Named Red Ranger - a red fighting fish) and two adorable ducklings. It's a full house!

Water Babies

Summer is on for these water kids! They just love the water! I am so happy that Vin can finally reach floor and in not limited to the steps only ... hahaha!

Now he can go around (carefully as he can swallow pool water if he moves fast) and chase after his willing victims who are both trying hard not to splash water on their little brother's face.

I am fortunate that my three kids get along well .. it's like they have their very own play group everyday!

Our latest snap shot

This picture was taken while we are waiting for the girls finish kiddie crew duties. Vin and i made serious bonding as we roamed around the mall for more than two hours for 5 straight days! We frequented the playgrounds, different fastfoods( eating waffle hotdogs, pizza, siomai, wanton etc), timezone, internet cafe and the home section of the department store! All in all we had fun!

It's raining Men ....

Was tagged by Jacqui with this interesting question on who i think are "hot" men ... hehehe! Was looking at the others choices .. and realized iba ang taste ko ... hehehe! Weird ata yung sa akin, lol!

Anyway here 's mine:

Hugh Grant is my top choice! Hehehe! Natawa pa nga ako nung nakita ko itong picture na ito eh when i searched for Hugh Grant images! hahaha! What i so like about him is his facial expressions (yung parang parating mali yung mga sinsabi) hehehe, parang di niya alam na ang gwapo niya! Though iisa lang ang acting style niya in all his films, yung parang lost puppy face ang dating ... i so like him!!!

Derek Ramsey ... need i say more? His biceps and triceps will do the talking. :)

Piolo Pascual ... simple lang .... though he is being hounded with his preferences with the opposite or same gender, i still like him. Whatever rocks your boat as the saying goes. hehehe!

begin copy}It’s up to you how narrate your stories but there are two rules: 1.Post pictures (I want to see what is all the hotness about), 2. Keep the linky linky alive (Tip, highlight the text which has links, right click and choose View Selection Source and just copy the HTML). Link the post where you wrote about the topic so women can find more drool-worthy men. (You might need to publish and then edit the entry first)

List:1. Aggie 2. Thea 3. Litzie 4. Joy 5. Jane 6. Tet 7. Yvelle 8. Jacqui

Staying in Manila

It has been decided ....

After careful deliberation ... weighing all the pros and cons of relocating to Baguio or staying in Manila ...

We have decided to stay in Manila for one more year.

I am a bit sad ... well after all the hype i put myself in ... but i have prayed that He tells me what to do ... and i think this is the most sensible and sane thing to do for now.

Baguio living will have to wait for next summer.

The kids would be a bit bigger to handle the new surroundings and maybe from today on we can start looking for a good property there so when we have decided to take the plunge we have our own house na.

So here i am ...

I am looking at our things now and have decided to do some serious summer cleaning. I have started last month and have disposed a lot of things already. I am now working my way on truck loads of toys ... goodluck to me! I purchased 8 large plastic crates to put all the toys that they still like and stack and label them. I have a lot of kids in mind to give the toys to already.

After the toys (which in reality will take me about three days to sort) i will tackle their clothes ... will buy another cabinet as Vin has has a lot of clothes now. :)

McDonalds Kiddie crew duties is finsihed (their graduation will be on Ma7 17 pa) so i don't have to leave the house in the afternoon ... more time to dive into my summer cleaning.

By May i have to enroll the girls and get the books and bags as well. Will buy shoes mid-May for more selections that will come out before school begins.

Vin just turned four and have been asking him if he want to go to school ... he is very clear in saying "Mama, not yet" hahaha!

Will homeschool Vin first (just like the two girls when they were he is age) and start him school at age 5 (kindergarten) the nursery teachings will come from me first ... and i will miss him!! hahaha! Ako ang may separation anxiety ah! lol!

So there, at least may finality na yung move .... we are not moving.

I know there are good reasons for this ... i trust all will be better.

Have a good productive week bloggers!

McDonald's Summer Girls

Bea and Sammie sure had a great time being McD's Summer girls for the second time ... two years in a row!

They started monday and will end later (Friday), they will have their graduation at the Activity Center Mall on May 17, they still have to wait for all the batches (5 in all) to finish.

Then they will have another culminating activity at Star City by the end of May!

Here are a few pictures from my phone camera, have not downloaded the ones from my digicam.

Will post them later :)

3 day sale

Yahoo! It's the time of the month .... the malls are on sale!

Have some items i have been thinking of, plus Christian wants to buy a new vacuum for the car and he saw a portable tire air thingy (hehehe ... basta you just plug this contraption to the cigarette lighter socket) and you can put air on your tires. lol! Anyway, so he is getting that later, sayang naman kasi yung discount ... hahaha!

I am thinking of getting the kids their bags na now. Saw good bags at P2300!!! Hay! So i am still in denial if i will buy two of those, medyo steep for my blood (lol) am thinking uupuan lang ng mga classmates nila yun eh ... but on the brighter side the salesperson boasts of the ability of the bag to withstand sitting children, to the point that the guy even stepped into the bag to prove the point ... and to counter what he did i said, "Naku, bibilhin ko na sana, kaso inapakan mo na yung loob, wag na lang." hahahah! Naku, halos magkandadapa sa paglabas ... hehehe!

Told him na lang na i will bring the girls first so they themselves can choose what they like, they come in plain and barbie designs though.

Kida are still asleep ... explaining why i am still blogging ... hehehe ... will have a quick brunch and head on to the sale ... Christian will follow there after office (o ready na akong gabihin) ... the kids will enjoy unlimited play sa playgrounds too (while i have unlimited time to sit down and catch up on text replies while watching them).

Malls will close at 11:00 pm tonight. Yahoo!

Then off to get the ps2 from the ebayer :)

Tomorrow Saturday i will see the mall again (hehehhe) i have Mcdonalds orientaion in the morning as the two kids (Bea and Sam) are joining the kiddie crew next week (that's 5 days!) and i have to arrange for their schedule and get their uniforms.

Looks like my 'hidden powers' will be unleashed once again later ... hahahah!

Have a great weekend blog friends!

Play Station 2 Slim Type

Bought a play station for the kids on ebay. We will get it tomorrow evening :)

Have not told them yet, as i want it to be a surprise ... it sure would keep them busy!

Our ps1 conked out on us last year and we have not had a chance to have it checked ... got the gameboy advance sp and that made the absence of the ps1 tolerable.

They are still into the gameboy phase, considering it has already been over a year ... at least sulit naman.

I am actually more excited to shop for dvd games for them sa weekend :)

Christian and i thought of buying it for them now habang summer pa and they can still have enough time to play with it.

Goodluck to Christian if he still wrestle his way for a turn. hahaha!

Igorot dolls

Bea and Sam sure had a kick out of playing with their Igorot dolls that we bought at the market in Baguio.

Got them Igorot dolls (Male and female with cute babies) and they made a small stage play out of them.

To those who had dolls like these when they were smaller would be surprised to see them look whiter than they were before. I remember them being so orange and there were even very tiny dolls that were being sold in pairs (as big as penlight batteries), but when i asked about them from the vendor they said they do not have those kind for a very long time.

It's good to see though that the things i used to do when i was smaller my kids are doing it now.

Vin is whining

Uh-oh.

Looks like Vin has gotten into the habit of whining instead of talking. I have told him a dozen of times that he is whining and that i cannot understand what he wants if he whines ... it works for a while ... then give it a few minutes then he is at it again.

He uses his 'whining voice' mostly on the girls ... hehehe!

If he wants something that the two girls have, he goes near them and in his signature whining voice he will say he want it ... hay!

I have heard the girls say "Why are you whining?" hahaha!

And he would say, "I'm not."

Hope the whining stage pass quickly.

Back from Baguio

The kids had a blast! We spent four fun filled days in the cool Baguio air!

It was very relaxing .. they horsebacked, biked, skated and best of all brought them to La Trinidad (it's an easy 30 minute drive from Baguio City) to have an experience on strawberry picking!

Can't wait to upload pictures!

They really enjoyed our vacation ... it was fun! As Sam said "This is the best vacation ever... i want to live here! hehehe! My sentiments exactly. :)

Finally, this is the trip i have been waiting for, para at least we know na if we are going to the big move or wait another year.

I know everything will work out well, it will all fall into place ... the move ... or not to move ... yet.

Will keep you posted, have tons of things to do pa, finishing all my designs. :)
