Luneta Funfare

I thought i was going to have a chance to blog like a mad woman during the Lenten break ... but having the kids around plus Christian spelled "pasyal" ... so had no chance to blog, but the days were filled with lots of fun! We were able to bring the kids to Rizal Park aka "Luneta" to have their dose of history and patriotism ... hehehe!

They enjoyed it! We brought along a cooler packed with cold drinks, passed by the supermarket to buy some chips and brought their bike and scooter na din.

We chanced upon a magic/trick show by some locals (naks feeling tourist naman daw ako ...lol!)and we gamely sat on the grass to watch. It was three men who comically was going through a hoop with knives (Bea said, "Mama, why are they doing that?" ...hehehe!) and after that someone from their camp would go around asking for coins for a well-applauded show.

Bea saw a lot of people flying kites, so for just P40 we had a kite :) And Bea had a grand time flying it! While Sam was deliciously devouring hot taho from a vendor ... yum! And the taho vendor had specific instructions, ("mama, tell him, not too much of the white stuff ... more of the brown sugar and the circle balls" lol!)

Vin naman had fun riding his bike, na nagulat ako ang bilis niya ... hehehe! Bea and Sam naman would hold the back of the bike para mahila sila kasi naka-skates naman sila. All in all it was a fun-filled day! Historic and Happy! What a combination!
